Your trust matters to us. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because privacy shouldn't be hidden in fine print.

The short version: We collect only what we need to run the service — your account details and the data you create. We don't sell your data to anyone. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

VFluxBoard and its related products — VFlux Collect, VFlux Poll, and VFlux Report (together, "the Platform" or "our services") — are operated by the VFluxBoard team, an independent, India-based product. When this page says "we" or "us", we mean the VFluxBoard team.

What we collect

We collect the following:

Account information — your username, email address, and an encrypted (hashed) password when you register.
Content you create — dashboards, surveys, forms, poll questions, quiz results, reports, and any data you upload or enter into the Platform.
Basic usage information — standard technical details such as your browser type and general activity needed to keep the service working and secure.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond what you choose to put into your own dashboards, surveys, or reports.

How we use it

We use your information only to:

Create and secure your account, and let you log in across all our products with one login.
Store and display the content you create, and provide the features you use.
Send essential emails such as verification and password-reset messages.
Keep the Platform reliable, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
Respond to your feedback and support requests.

We never sell your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or the content you create to advertisers or third parties.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on secure servers and protected with industry-standard measures, including encrypted passwords and HTTPS connections. We take regular backups so your work isn't lost. While no online service can promise perfect security, we work hard to protect your information.

Sharing your data

The content you create is private to your account unless you choose to share it (for example, sharing a dashboard link, publishing a survey, or running a live poll where participants join by code). We only share your information with others if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the Platform.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your data. You can:

Access and edit your account details and content at any time from within the Platform.
Delete your content — dashboards, surveys, polls, and reports can be removed by you.
Delete your account — contact us and we'll remove your account and associated data.

Beta software notice

The Platform is currently in beta. This means we're actively improving it, and features may change. We recommend keeping your own copies of important data during the beta period.

Children

The Platform is intended for use by adults and organisations. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Platform grows. When we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Platform means you accept the current policy.
